In Rockin’ The Blues, Keith Wyatt teaches you how to develop a Blues style by taking you through the phrasing and feel of traditional Blues and its relationship to Rock. Topics included are: shuffle rhythms, flashy open string licks, scale to chord thinking, call and response phrasing, target notes, intros, turnarounds and endings plus many traditional Blues phrases. You’ll also learn how to use the entire neck and how to play in all keys using just one position. Keith’s inspirational playing and demonstrations will help you build a Rock solid foundation for the Blues. Keith Wyatt’s playing is the result of having studied the styles of all the major Rock and Blues artists of the past several decades. As an educator, the past ten years of private and classroom instruction at the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT) have given him a unique insight to the best ways of developing and teaching phrasing and style. Keith has performed with Albert Collins, Jack Bruce, and currently plays in the Ginger Baker Band with Tim Bogert. He also plays in the L.A. area with his own group. Keith enjoys doing seminars around the country and has authored several instructional books and audios.
