on Apr 15th, 2008Beethoven: Gertrude’s Dream Waltz
There is still some debate as to the origins of this piece, some saying that it was written by Beethoven, others maintaining that he wrote very few Waltzes. Whoever the credit is attributed to, what is clear is that it is an attractive tune, sprightly, jaunty and one that made up part of the standard repertoire well into the 20th century. For Solo Piano.
